Local veterans urged to share their concerns
VETERANS across North Ayrshire are being urged to come and air their views at a meeting in Saltcoats.
The Scottish Older People’s Assembly (SOPA), which communicates with governments in response to older people’s concerns, is interested in hearing the views of veterans in North Ayrshire.
The organisation wishes to invite veterans aged 55 and over to come along to a meeting and tell them what veterans want.
SOPA will then feed these views back to the Scottish Government.
The meeting is in Saltcoats Town Hall on Thursday, August 4 from 7-9pm. Tea and coffee will be available.
