Woman admits £17,000 child benefit fraud
A KILBIRNIE woman will be sentenced next month after admitting claiming more than £17,000 in benefits she wasn’t entitled to.
Elizabeth McPhee, 42, of Ladeside Gardens, pleaded guilty to claiming £17,481.40 in Child Tax Credit between May 2013 and April 2014.
She will be sentenced on September 13 after social work background reports were called for.
