BILLY McEwan from Ardrossan gave the Herald this old photo of his school gym team.
The picture shows the team from Stevenston Higher Grade in 1956.
Billy, a retired Royal Mail worker, said: “I’ve had the picture for years and years.
“I was just 14-years-old when it was taken. I was a keen gymnast.
“Some of the guys there are no longer with us.
“Maybe someone will recognise themselves in it.”
Billy has tried to recall all the names of the boys in the picture.
They are thought to be:
