AN ARDROSSAN pensioner is trying to trace a man she used to dance with in the 1950s.
Caroline Campbell ran into the man, known only as John, a few weeks ago in Saltcoats but didn’t recognise him at first.
It was only when the 75-year-old got on her bus that it dawned on her who he was.
Caroline told the Herald: “I was waiting at the bus stop about six weeks ago in Saltcoats to come to Ardrossan. I was in the bus stop myself and this couple walked passed. The man turned round and said: ‘Do you not remember me? We used to dance together at the Locarno in Glasgow in 1955!’
John is thought to be around the age of 75 and lived in Glasgow in the 1950s.
