THE campaign to get Celtic and Scotland legend Bobby Lennox a statue in Saltcoats town took another step forward with a fundraising night being organised for next month.
On Friday, November 25, there will be a night held in St Mary’s Chapel Hall but if you want to head along, you’ll have to be quick.
Irish folk singer Tony Ray will be performing on the night and there will be a raffle too.
Tickets are priced at just £10 and due to demand there are just 50 left at the time of going to print with the remainder being on offer from the Elms Bar in Saltcoats from 4pm today (Wednesday) and these will be limited to two per person in the interests of fairness.
