BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Edward Reid and drag queen Lily Minogue took the crowd by storm at the recent Girl’s Night Pout held in the Carlton Hotel in Prestwick.

The cabaret stars delighted the audience with a selection of songs and games at the sell-out event which raised more than £3,200 for local charity Hansel which supports people with learning disabilities.

Debbie Campbell from the Hansel Fundraising Team said: “It was just a fantastic night – Lily Minogue gave an outrageous performance which included her own version of the musical Sister Act and Edward Reid had everyone up singing and dancing.

“The atmosphere was amazing and no-one wanted to go home at the end of the night.

“The Carlton Hotel staff did a wonderful job and we would like to thank them, our sponsors who gave us such fantastic raffle prizes, Edward and Lily and everyone who came along on the night and showed their support for the charity.”

Prizes up for grabs on the night included four tickets for the MOBO awards, dinner bed and breakfast for two at Abode Hotel in Glasgow, a voucher for cocktails and tapas at Si! in Irvine, a massage at Butterfly Beauty in Ayr and a bottle of Prosecco.
