THE girls from the Ardrossan Youth Centre recently handed over a cheque to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital after a number of fundraising events.
They have held a number of events including a gunging, a car boot sale and a fun day in hope of helping the charity.
The gunge event involved two youth workers from their group getting dunked in gunge.
Raising over £500 for the hospital, the group are hoping to visit in the new year to find out how our money has helped the kids.
If anyone would like to donate to further the total raised so far, their JustGiving link can be found here.
A representative from the charity came along to their recent Hallowe’en party to collect the generous donation.
