FESTIVE costumes featuring elves were on show and horses were dressed in a selection of colourful festive gear at a special event last week.
Greenacres Riding Centre at Torranyard, near Kilwinning, staged a successful fun day last Tuesday.
Riding Instructor Andie Alcroft said: “I teach over the Saturday and Sunday, so it was great to get all the kids together over the festive period and have lots of fun, dressing them up and taking part in some pony games.
“The older girls sure put on a great show, showing the skills they have learned over the last year.”
Homemade soup, sausage rolls and burgers kept the competitors warm.
As well as riding lessons every weekend Greenacres enjoy running lots of fun activities for their clients throughout the holidays.
