PUPILS at West Kilbride Primary School and Early Years Class had their annual Primary 6 and 7 Burns Competition.
All pupils who participated confidently performed to the best of their ability.
The children could either recite, sing or play a song or a poem by Robert Burns.
The winners were:
Recitation winner – Kyle MacKay for reciting Scots Wha Hae
Instrument winner – Lucy Robinson for playing Auld Lang Syne on the Clarinet
Singing winner – Bonnie McKiernan for singing Scots Wha Hae
Overall winner – Kyle MacKay for reciting Scots Wha Hae
Special Mention – Grace Connachan recited Willie Wastle with great expression and confidence. It was a highly commendable performance.
