IT was party time this weekend when more than 50 dogs descended on Stevenston Beach to celebrate the birthday of a local St Bernard.
The second birthday of Princess Lola was described as ‘amazing’ by owner Tracy Breen and the event was much bigger than she ever thought.
Tracy, pictured right with Princess Lola, told the Herald: “It was amazing.
“There were over 50 dogs, including 13 St Bernards. It turned out bigger than I ever thought.
“Dogs came from all over Scotland. It was great.”
Princess Lola rightly took pride of place at her second doggy birthday bash.
And there was even a film crew there to capture her big day.
Tracy added: “I’d just like to thank the film crew for coming along on the day, the Stevenston Community Centre for opening to let people in, everyone for travelling down and for all of the kind gifts.
“I’d also like to give a big shout-out to Ian Cassidy for making the place look amazing and for helping with the gazebo.”
Our photographer Charlie Gilmour was there on the day to capture the action.
