NEW jobs are set to be created in Ardrossan after a Stevenston-based company acquired new premises in the town.

BPO Collections Ltd has secured a long term lease for new premises at Marina Quay initially creating 10 new jobs.

The company plan to relocate in early May 2017, which will signify the contact centre’s long term commitment to employment in North Ayrshire.

Karen Yeomans, Executive Director of Economy and Communities, said: “I am delighted we have been able to support BPO Collections to secure a long term lease to move to Marina Quay in Ardrossan.

“We look forward to helping the company with its future growth plans to further expand in North Ayrshire.”

BPO Collections has received support from the public and private sector partners who make up Team North Ayrshire.

They have helped the company with staff recruitment and grant funding for employee development.

This unique partnership approach is recognised as best practice by the Scottish Government and is being used as a model of elsewhere.

The company was founded in 2006 with a workforce of nine staff and has grown over the years.

It now employs over 50 staff from its current offices in Stevenston, most of whom live in and around the Three Towns.

The new premises will offer a top class working environment for the team, an impressive site for existing and prospective client visits, 40 per cent increase in workstation capacity and a dedicated training facility.
