MICROTECH Business Intelligence, the investment arm of the Microtech Group, last week announced the acquisition of the Grange Business Centre in Stevenston, from Irvine Bay Regeneration Company.

As part of the company’s ongoing strategy to invest in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME’s), they have purchased the building which will operate as managed business centre with serviced offices. There are a variety of office spaces available to suit a range of budgets and they will also be offering flexible leases.

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company represents the five towns of Irvine, Kilwinning, Saltcoats, Stevenston and Ardrossan and was established ten years ago to make the local area a more attractive place to live, work and do business. Having successfully completed their journey, they are preparing to hand over the regeneration responsibility to North Ayrshire Council.

Managing Director of the Microtech Group, Chris McMail said: “The option to purchase the centre from Irvine Bay was the perfect timing for us. As a company, we are keen to be able to support local SME’s and we are currently sponsoring and mentoring eight local businesswomen as part of the Ayrshire Business Women Growth Scholarship. Purchasing the Grange Business Centre reinforces the Microtech Group’s strategy of supporting the local business community, and we welcome any enquiries from companies interested in benefitting from a serviced office with flexible leases.”

The recently renovated business centre in the heart of Stevenston offers flexible office, workshop and retail accommodation with public transport and other amenities on the doorstep.

The ground floor offers two commercial/workshop spaces, one 76sqm and the other 177.6sqm, with eight serviced offices on the first floor ranging from 26sq m to 62.8 sq m. In addition, there is a common reception area, lift and toilets.
