Stevenston author celebrates release of his new book
A STEVENSTON author has celebrated the publication of his new book, all about a piece of the town’s history.
Alex McClatchie’s ‘Kerelaw House’ is a comprehensive and readable history of the Stevenston mansion house and its principal families - the Hamiltons, Fullartons and Campbells.
Alex is pictured with Melanie McBlain of Stevenston library presenting a copy of his book as a thank you for their help.
The book, priced at £8.50, is available from Stevenston and Saltcoats libraries or Starks Newsagent, with all proceeds going to the Stevenston Common Good Fund.
