General Election set to take place in June
PRIME Minister Theresa May has announced that a General Election will take place on June 8.
In a statement made to the nation, the Prime Minister announced the snap general election would take place in 50 days time.
The last general election took place in 2015 when Patricia Gibson gained the constituency of North Ayrshire and Arran from Labour for the SNP.
