MORE than 200 ladies took to their seats at the Seamill Hyrdo for a charity fashion show and delicious afternoon tea.

Swing Into Spring, on Sunday, April 23, raised money for Ayrshire-based charity Hansel, which offers a range of services to people living with disabilities.

Troon boutique September Skies showcased the latest styles to hit the catwalk and guests were able to indulge in some retail therapy.

Exhibitors included Scentsations of Troon, The Shoe Gallery from Prestwick and Hansel’s own shop, Hi Street from Prestwick.

Tricia Judge from Elite Cabaret Show entertained with well known swing numbers and the day was finished off with a tour round the hotel.

Sheila McLean, Hansel’s Fundraising Manager, said on the day: “There is always a great atmosphere at our ladies event and today signals the end of winter and everyone now looks forward to the summer months ahead and chatting about their holiday plans.

“It is a great opportunity to catch up with friends, splash out on a new outfit or pick out some gifts in a very relaxed environment.

“I would like to thank everyone for coming along, to all the exhibitors on the day, Jennifer from September Skies and her fabulous models, and to Norman Rennie and his team at the hotel.”
