Kilwinning students at Ayrshire College have raised a significant amount of money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Over £200 was collected by students on the Connect to Careers course as part of their Enterprise Unit.
Connect to Careers is a course at Ayrshire College that prepares young people for life after school by teaching them the necessary skills required for the workplace.
The students delivered the £209.59 donation - which they raised through a series of bucket collections - in person. They visited the charity at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow last week and had the chance to see first-hand the difference their donation will make.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity is able to fund a range of projects and services to help care for Scotland’s children including enhanced medical equipment.
