This weekend sees the return of the Ardrossan Music Experience.
The main event kicks off on Friday, June 2 with confirmed acts The Colin Kennedy Band, Tom McGuire and the Brassholes and Jo Harman.
And on Saturday, June 3, Ardrossan will welcome Sonny Daze and the Restless Knights, The Hummingbirds and special headline act The James Hunter Six.
But there’s plenty going on before that.
On Wednesday, May 31, there is a School Groups’ Competition.
This is their first collaboration with the education sector and organisers said they are ‘really looking forward to the event’.
A number of schools will select bands to compete and they will be offered a period of tuition before the competition.
Another new venture is the Music Experience’s swing night - they welcome Stirling Austin Swing Band to a night of American Songbook classics on Thursday, June. 1
Tickets are free on a first come first served basis.
