Man arrested after allegedly trying to steal woman's bag in Ardrossan
A 34-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged attempted robbery late on Wednesday evening.
Around 11.20pm, police were called to a report of a man allegedly attempting to snatch a bag from a woman in Ardrossan's Kilmeny Terrace.
Police attended and as a result, a 34-year-old man was arrested and detained pending an appearance at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
