A SECOND walk in support of the Ainslie Mitchell Fund will be held this weekend.

Ainslie, 18, has seemingly incurable cancer and needs to raise £20,000 to get life-saving treatment in Cuba.

Last week we reported that family friend Catherine Edgar has planned a walk from Morrisons in Stevenston to the Rowan Tree on Sunday, July 23.

Now Kirsty-Ann Walker has also organised a walk to raise awareness.

Around 10 people, along with their kids, are taking part in a Cuban-themed walk this Saturday, June 22.

The group plan to set off at around 5.30pm from Ardrossan Beach Park and walk around three hours to Irvine Beach Park.

Kirsty, from Stevenston, said: “We’re all dressing up in a Cuban, carnival-style theme, all bright colours.

“I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that’s joining in. ”
