A MAN has admitted to intimidating his neighbours in Beith and displaying erratic behaviour within a garden, including dancing, changing his clothes, and brandishing a wooden stick.

Craig Rennie, 45, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to one charge.

His plea of not guilty to a second charge was accepted by the prosecutor.

Between June 23 and June 28, Rennie behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, and repeatedly acted in an intimidating and erratic manner towards his two neighbours.

Rennie repeatedly stared at them, stared within their home address and threatened to stare at them during the night.

He also acted in an erratic manner within his garden, danced, repeatedly attempted to climb over the garden fence, brandished a wooden stick, talked in an incoherent manner, punched the walls, argued with himself, repeatedly changed his clothes, and behaved in an erratic and intimidating manner in the presence of children.

Sentence was deferred until August 22 for reports. Rennie was remanded in custody.
