A MUM-of-three stole 14 mobile phones on separate occasions in the space of two months.
Claudia Berbecar, of Inglefield Street in Govanhill, carried out the thefts in locations around Glasgow. from July 1 to August 18 last year.
The 22-year-old stole phones from Starbucks, KFC, McDonalds, The Counting House, Cafe Nero, Toby Jug, Crystal Palace, Eat Cafe, Barolo Grill, Patisserie Valerie and Molly Malones. There was no recovery of the stolen items.
Berbecar appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court for sentencing. Sheriff Cameron told her she had avoided going to jail due to the fact that she has three young children.
She was ordered to undergo 225 hours of unpaid work.
