DALRY Primary School played host to the 80 young musicians from the West of Scotland Schools Symphony Orchestra on Monday afternoon.

Pupils from each of North Ayrshire’s secondary schools attended the special event.

And North Ayrshire’s own music star, Greenwood Academy pupil Adam Lee, performed with the orchestra.

The event visits each local authority in the west of Scotland only once every seven years.

And this year it was North Ayrshire’s turn to host the musical spectacular.
