INTREPID Fundraisers John Shaw and Mark Robertson are planning to walk the 57 mile circuit of Arran, starting from Brodick, within 24 hours to raise funds for Variety Scotland, the Children’s Charity.
John and Mark will take part in the ‘Brodick to Brodick’ challenge on Saturday, September 23 and, at the time of going to print, have raised almost £1,000 Variety Scotland’s mission is to improve the lives of children and young people who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged.
They do this by providing the famous Sunshine Coaches, bespoke wheelchairs, sensory and specialist equipment for use in the home, at school, in hospitals and youth centres.
