Delays in Saltcoats
TEMPORARY four-way traffic lights have caused significant delays in Saltcoats and are expected to remain in place for more than a week.
The temporary lights were put up today (Monday, September 18) on Ardrossan Road at the junction with Manse Street.
The lights are in place to allow for BT to carry out works and are expected to remain there until September 27.
A local driver described the traffic congestion this afternoon as "unreal" and "a nightmare".
