A MAN was rushed to hospital after he was rescued from Ardrossan Harbour late on Tuesday night.
Shortly before 11pm, neighbours heard calls for help and they managed to assist the man before Police, Ambulance and Coastguard attended the scene.
The man, aged 19, was then taken to Crosshouse Hospital. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 10.55pm on Tuesday, October 17, police were called to a report of a man in the water at Ardrossan Harbour.
“Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was recovered from the water and taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment."
