EMERGENCY services were called to Ardrossan South Beach at the weekend after reports of an unconscious woman on the beach.
Just before 1.40pm on Saturday, Police, Ambulance and Coastguard were tasked to the scene.
A 35-year-old female was discovered and emergency services worked together to convey the casualty to the nearby ambulance.
She was taken to Crosshouse Hospital but details of her condition are unknown.
A spokesperson for the Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team said: “The team responded immediately.
“The female was quickly located and assisted by all the emergency services, with the team thereafter assisting paramedics in conveying the casualty into the ambulance.”
