Death of woman: man faces drugs rap
A man has been arrested following the discovery of a body in an Ardrossan home.
Police were called at around 5pm yesterday (Thursday, November 16) to a property in Broadway. The body of a 35-year-old woman was discovered within.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed that a 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with alleged drugs supply. He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.
A post mortem will be carried out in due course and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
