KA Leisure is a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017.
The North Ayrshire leisure organisation achieved the Gold award in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
Alex Murray, KA Leisure’s Health & Safety Co-ordinator received the award during a ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton hotel during a special year for family-safety charity RoSPA, as it celebrates its centenary.
Judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
In addition to KA Leisure’s Gold Award success, Alex Murray received the RoSPA Guardian Angel Award for contributing to a safer society.
Alex said: “We are immensely proud. This award is an accolade to the dedication of all of the staff in maintaining the highest H&S standards.”
