A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with killing a Saltcoats pensioner.
The 16-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared yesterday at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court charged with the Culpable Homicide of 66-year-old Henry Lee.
Mr Lee died following an incident in the town's Green Street on Tuesday, November 21.
The teenager made no plea and was committed for further examination and released on bail.
He had previously appeared in court charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life.
