A WOMAN has been fined £600 for abusing her partner over the course of four years.
Rose Carson was convicted of assaulting the man on various occasions between August 1, 2012 and April 30, 2016.
The offences took place at Oak Road in Ardrossan. The 44-year-old, also of Oak Avenue, is accused under the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm Act of domestically abusing the man by kicking and punching him on the body.
She was found guilty at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and fined £600.
Carson works as a carer for North Ayrshire Council.
A spokesperson for North Ayrshire Council, said: “It would be inappropriate for us to comment on matters relating to individual employees.”
