ONE of Saltcoats’ most famous cafes is giving locals the chance to win a priceless piece of memorabilia from one of Saltcoats’ most famous sons.
Cavani’s West End Cafe in the town’s Hamilton Street has been serving the public for over 100 years and as part of the campaign to build a statue for Celtic and Scotland star Bobby Lennox, they are holding a raffle to win a fantastic tribute to the joint testimonial match that was held for Bobby and fellow Lisbon Lion Jimmy Johnstone.
The framed tribute, which is also signed by Bobby, was kindly donated by Ian Armstrong.
For your chance to get involved, all you have to do is donate £1 to the campaign and guess how many ice cream cones are on their festive tree.
The contest is open until Christmas Eve.
The Bobby Lennox Statue campaign is going from strength to strength having held various fundraising events, the Bobby Lennox Cup and selling ‘Buzz Bomb’ t-shirts.
To register your guess and have the chance of winning, pop in to the cafe in Saltcoats.
