MAYFIELD Primary pupils enjoyed some hearty food as part of North Ayrshire Council’s Christmas School Meals Service.
The initiative, which ran on December 27, 28 and 29, saw schools and community centres across the region open their doors over the festive holidays.
The aim of the scheme is to allow school-aged children to get a hot, fulfilling lunch and a run around with their friends out with term time. Pupils also had a fantastic time with some organised fun and games over the three days.
