The Herald reported the sad news just before Christmas that Grado’s beloved mum Maureen had passed away.

‘Love from Katie from the top end of Pennyburn.’

The heartfelt message was shared on social media by Grado and his adoring fans were left flabbergasted by the kindness of the youngster.
