CALMAC have announced a new Managing Director this week.
The Board of David MacBrayne Limited has announced the appointment of Robbie Drummond, Interim Director of Service Delivery and former Group Finance Director, as Interim Managing Director of CalMac Ferries Limited from Monday, February 5.
Commenting on his appointment, David McGibbon, Chairman of David MacBrayne Limited, the parent Company, said: “We have a contract to deliver the lifeline ferry services until 2024 and, whilst we face challenging times, Robbie’s experience as Group Finance Director and, more recently, as Interim Director of Service Delivery will, I believe, stand him in good stead in the period ahead and even more so as we look towards the future.”
The Board will shortly commence the process to recruit a Chief Executive.
