A man who crashed his vehicle and caused serious injury to himself and another driver has been fined.
Aiden James Adam, 24, of West Kilbride’s Corse Road, pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Adam drove a vehicle without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other people using the road or public place on March 12 last year on the A737 near Dalry.
He drove at grossly excessive speeds, lost control of his vehicle, crossed over onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a car in the opposite direction.
Adam’s collision caused damage to both vehicles and serious injury to himself and the female driver of the other car.
He was fined £350 and disqualified from driving for six months.
