A 58-year-old woman has admitted to driving a car whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Fiona Cavani, of Raise Street in Saltcoats, pled guilty to three charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week. Her pleas of not guilty to two other charges were accepted by the prosecutor.
On January 30 on Kilwinning Road, and within the grounds of Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine, Cavani was driving a car whilst unfit to do so through drink or drugs and used a vehicle without insurance.
On the same date, at Saltcoats Police Office, Cavani also failed without reasonable excuse to provide two specimens of breath for analysis to ascertain her ability to drive a car.
Sentence was deferred for reports until February 27. Cavani was bailed and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence until then.
