TRAVEL issues continue across North Ayrshire this morning in the aftermath of a winter snowstorm which has affected most of Scotland.
All trains remain cancelled with Scotrail saying that they will be running a reduced service at best following continued warnings from the Met Office.
Locally, Stagecoach buses are beginning to run to normal although there are some small changes to routes due to untreated roads. The very latest can be found here.
The Ardrossan-Arran ferry is on alert and may be delayed or cancelled due to the weather warnings. Calmac are updating with details on services throughout the day here.
All schools in North, South and East Ayrshire are closed as well as Ayrshire College campuses and local shops and restaurants have also been closing due to the weather.
We we'll update with any breaking weather or travel news on our website, Facebook and Twitter.
