CHILDREN at Moorpark Primary in Kilbirnie celebrated the school’s 40th birthday with a special party.
All of the children from the Early Years Class to P7 took part in a concert at the school on Friday, February 23.
Each class performed a song or a dance to music from the 70s right through to the present day.
Parents and carers attended the performances and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.
After school, the Parents Group hosted a coffee afternoon, which was well attended by friends of the school, ex-pupils and staff.
The Parents Group also presented the school with a beautiful frame commemorating the school’s birthday.
Herald photographer Charlie Gilmour was at the party to capture all the action.
The school’s next event is on Friday, March 9 with a Service of Thanksgiving in St Columba’s Church at 9.30am.
Everyone is very welcome to attend.
