AN Employment Fayre organised by MP for North Ayrshire and Arran Patricia Gibson is coming to Stevenston.

The event, which follows successful employment fayres in Kilwinning and Largs, takes place at Ardeer Community Centre from 9am to 12.30pm on Friday, March 9.

Many national and local organisations will be there, and the Employment Fayre will provide an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to meet employers with vacancies, as well as organisations who help people into work.

Speaking ahead of the event, Mrs Gibson said: “This is a terrific opportunity both for employers and people looking for work.

“Dozens of businesses and organisations from different sectors, with vacancies to suit different ages, skill sets, interests and aspirations will participate.

“I am absolutely delighted so many employers have come on board to make this event happen and believe it will be the biggest and best yet.

“Although I have organised similar events before, this is the first time I have brought an Employment Fayre to Stevenston and I urge local people and anyone in the constituency looking for a job, or a return to work, to come along and see the range of employment and training opportunities on offer. I would love to see as many people as possible match up with our employers.”
