Trains delayed and cancelled as engineering work finishes
TRAIN services in North Ayrshire could be delayed or cancelled due to engineering works not being finished on time.
Scotrail have confirmed that all trains between Glasgow Central and Largs may be delayed by up to five minutes and a number of trains for later on tonight have already been cancelled.
The works have been taking place at Kilwinning on Sundays over the past six weeks with buses replacing the train services between Kilwinning and Paisley.
Trains between Glasgow and Largs/Ardrossan Harbour/Ayr from 9.15pm tonight have been cancelled and Scotrail are trying to provide alternative transport.
