A CAFE popped up in a Kilwinning primary school last week as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.
The Blacklands Primary Eco Experts Council did a fantastic job in planning and running the Fairtrade Pop in Cafe on Friday, March 9.
The aim was to raise awareness of Fairtrade, and the important work it supports.
As always, the parents, carers, family and friends of the school turned out in force to support the event.
A lovely afternoon was had by all, sampling the Fairtrade tea, coffee and fruit smoothies.
Delicious bakery treats were kindly donated by family and friends of the school, as well as local retailers including Asda, the Co-op, and Sainsbury’s.
