YOUNGSTERS from Stanley Primary impressed at the recent North Ayrshire Schools Cross Country Championships.
Pupils from primary 5, 6 and 7 took part in the event at St Matthew’s Academy in Saltcoats.
And two P5 girls stole the show with a gold and silver medal. Sophie McGinn picked up the gold and her fellow P5 Eilidh Dunwoodie took silver.
The pair were also part of the team who came first and lifted the team trophy.
The speedy duo are pictured with their medals and the rest of the runners who took part on the day.
