A Kilwinning school put on some spectacular performances of the musical Oliver! last month.

Corsehill pupils have been acting and singing their production of the Dickens-based musical to parents and friends, leaving audiences wanting ‘some more’.

The final curtain came down on Thursday, March 22, with North Ayrshire Provost Ian Clarkson there to cheer them on.

Oliver was played by pupils Niamh Stephen and Aaron Todd, Dodger by Blair Blythe and Amy Lammie, Fagin Leigham Smith and Robyn Goodfellow, Bill by Arran Milne, Nancy Ava Blair and Macy Dalton, Tamzyn Craig and Emily Davidson, Mr Bumble Katie Ballantyne, and Mr Brownlow was played by Iona McClarty.

Fagin’s boys were played by Lily Welsh as Charlie, Sophia McCurdie as John, Carmen Innes as Harry, Madison Bunce as Sam and Sophie Ballantyne as Mark.

The show’s backstage and tech crew featured Allastair Gilmour, Ben Blythe, Dacid Bicket, Lennox Larmour, Mark Paul, Joel Christie, Leah Smith, Mason O’Connor, Carly Walker, Coleen Mason.

Pupils taking part in the chorus were Liam Boyd, Natalia Gomez, William Watson, Kayla Monteith, Darcey Burke, Emily Hollas-Laird, Ali Shearer, Skye Nelson, Scott Coombs, Alisha Tudhole, Cooper McCrae, Skye Logan, Savannah Wilson, Kyle Meikle, Ryan Graham, Rose Fyffe, Lily Logan, Laura Frey.
