PUPILS from James Reid School braved the Easter chill to complete a sponsored walk to raise funds for a trip.
The Senior B class were walking from the school to Ardrossan shore and back to raise money for their upcoming residential trip to Aviemore for the annual Shinty Festival.
They also took their Shinty Camans (sticks!) and balls and practised their skills along the prom.
Money collected has still to be counted but it is looking like the trip will be zero cost for the pupils.
