FRIENDS of Spiers had a successful Egg Hunt in the Spier’s Grounds just east of Beith on March 31.
Around 200 attended including eight stewards and some usual visitors walking in the grounds.
Many youngsters came with parents and hunted around for the two coloured pieces of wood entitling them to a free egg, with some lucky enough to win larger eggs.
A grand Easter egg hunt at Spiers There was also an orienteering course. Thanks to Tesco, Beith Co-op and individuals who made egg and other donations which more than covered costs of the event - also thanks to the Beith Trust for making parking space available at Geilsland.
The Friends of Spiers AGM will be in Beith Townhouse on May 30.
