SEAMILL Hydro Hotel & Resort have this week announced the Ayrshire Hospice as their nominated charity partner for 2018.

Throughout the past decade, the Ayrshire Hospice has held its annual Autumn Ball event at Seamill Hydro Hotel where over £700,000 has been raised.

In September 2016, the Ladies Who Lunch Club was established at Seamill Hydro where over 100 supporters now attend on a monthly basis. The group have raised over £30,000 in under two years in the club’s existence.

Seamill Hydro employee Claire Houston has also organised a 24- hour triathlon within the leisure centre of Seamill Hydro over the past five years where she has raised over £65,000.

Last year Claire even made it a 25 hour triathlon as the event took place on the night that the clocks went back.

The hotel’s Norman Rennie said: “We understand the immense contribution the Ayrshire Hospice makes in our community and so we are delighted to support them as our official charity in 2018.”
