Thug jailed for Kilbirnie stabbing
A 58-year-old who stabbed a man, permanently disfiguring him and endangering his life has been jailed for more than two years.
David Harold assaulted the man in Munro Drive in Kilbirnie on July 15 of last year.
Harold, of Glasgow, stabbed the man on the body with a knife to his severe disfigurement and to the danger of his life.
Harold appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pleaded guilty to one charge.
He was sentenced to 28 months imprisonment.
