'Hug A Dug' event this weekend in Saltcoats
A SALTCOATS cafe are holding an event this weekend where locals are invited to ‘Hug a Dug’.
The Melbourne in Hamilton Street have an open invitation to owners of ‘cuddly and social’ dogs from 2-3.30pm on Sunday, April 29 in aid of the SSPCA.
Their poster reads ‘If your dog is happy to receive the attention, please come along and visit the cafe.
“All owners, family and friends and those need to ‘hug a dug’ will be welcomed but may not receive the most attention.”
On the day, donations will be accepted on behalf of the SSPCA Centre in Ayr. They need blankets (without stuffing), toys, treats and food.
