Three taken to hospital after Ardrossan road smash
TWO women and a nine-year-old boy have been taken to hospital after a three-car smash in Ardrossan.
The incident occurred shortly before 9am on Glasgow Street near to the junction with Winton Street.
Three cars were involved but it is unclear at this stage what caused the incident.
Police and ambulance service personnel were quickly on the scene and a female driver, her nine-year-old son and another female were taken to Crosshouse Hospital by ambulance.
Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
