Three vehicle crash near Kilwinning primary school
A BUSY Kilwinning road was closed after a three car crash near a school.
The incident, on Kilwinning Road near to St Luke's Primary, took place this morning shortly before 9am.
Two cars and a van were involved in the crash but injuries are not yet known at this time.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "At around 8.45am this morning police received a report of a road collision on Pennyburn Road near St Lukes’s Primary School involving a minivan and two cars.
"The road was closed at the roundabout near St Luke’s and road at the Kilwinning Sports Club.
"One of the vehicles had to be uplifted and an ambulance has attended the scene."
